Lea finishes the collars she promised to work on in the last story. They are identical to their old collars except for the ability to activate the NESIC it is paired to. She is sent back to the dungeon to finish her period there, and finds that the addition of the NESIC allows her to enjoy the pain especially when she can picture that it is a woman and not a man using her. She focuses most of her fantasies on this one guest she saw only once, but she discovered that pretending she was a kind of puppet-master made everything more bearable. She is blindfolded so that her daydreaming does not seem as off-putting to the guests and she enjoys it.
She is then brought to be used with a new device the casino is working on. It is about the size of a large footstool, is on wheels, and has a leash to connect to Lea's collar. Lea is given blackout contact lenses, and ear plugs with small speakers so that she is blind and can only hear what the machine wants her to hear. She is then led around and used, but her blindness allows the fantasies to be very real and by the end of the night she is enjoying her time as a slave to the "MeshBot" machine.
Sophia by contrast, is sent to one of the rooms to await a guest, only to find out that it is Rob that has come to rent her. Zainab is paying for it, and it is a chance for Sophia to relax and a chance for Rob to be closer to Sophia. The second time Rob does this is on Sophia's birthday. In addition to other gifts, Rob shows Sophia an inescapable chastity belt he has put himself in as a gift for Sophia and to show his devotion. Only Sophia's thumb print can open it. The next morning, Sophia talks to Aaron, the man in charge of scheduling, and learns that Felix has essentially stopped asking about her. She pleads with Aaron that this means he could give her easier assignment but he refuses.
Additionally, we learn in a brief aside that Zainab has now gotten a NESIC of her own.
