Andrea and Zainab travel with Megan back to her parent's home in Tullburg. After things at home become strained, the three leave. Megan looks up the address to Lea's cabin and decided that since no one had heard from Lea they should go up to see if she's there. When they arrive, they don't find Lea but decide to stay for a bit anyway. When showing Zainab the upstairs cells, they accidentally command Hannah to lock the door. Thanks to the way Lea programmed Hannah, the only way to open the door is with a call to the police, which would be a false call and a matter of public record. Andrea and Zainab spend the night in the cell where Andrea finally tells Zainab everything that happened over the summer. Megan decides instead to spend the night in self-bondage with the key just outside.
Overnight, a storm moves in, blanketing them with about two feet of snow. This makes it nearly impossible to retrieve the keys that Megan left outside. After a bit of play outside between Zainab and Andrea, Zainab snaps at Andrea, suggesting coldly that they should probably end things. Andrea worries that telling her about last summer is to blame, but in the exchange Zainab admits that she loves Andrea. Zainab goes on to explain that she has never felt like this, and that she is not sure she can handle it. She uses the explanation that she always considered herself a "shabdahl," named for a bird local to her home country that is very "flighty" and never really settles down its whole life. Eventually the two make up.
After shoveling the long driveway most of the day, the three retire to the living room for some Christmas presents. Megan gets a noise-canceling home cinema headset, making her isolated completly from what's around her. The two lead her into one of the crates where she curls up helplessly still locked in the restraints she put herself in the night before. Zainab than presents Andrea with a necklace. One that, especially in light of their conversation, is clearly a symbolic collar. It has small controls that activate her NESIC, but to cum or remove it requires Zainab's thumb print. So when Andrea puts it on, she has essentially been collared by Zainab but happily accepts.
The next morning, when Megan hears them wake (her earphones ran out of battery during the night) she pleeds with them to let her out. They do but it's still not enough to calm her, so Zainab cuts the bindings, destroying her favorite leather restraints in the process. Megan, no once again free, opens up to Andrea, admitting that she's been having a hard time with everything. Andrea promises to help however she can. With the driveway finally clear and the road plowed (though still with some snow) they decide to leave and make a break for the nearest airport to spend the rest of the Christmas Break somewhere warm.
