Part 10 Summary

Part 10 starts very shortly after the end of the last story and covers nearly a month. It focuses mostly on Sophia and Lea but everyone makes an appearance. Spoilers below.

The story starts as Sophia anxiously awaits to hear what might happen to her after Carl, the man who owned her contract, died. She finds out soon that it was passed down to his son Felix. She is taken to another casino, a medieval theme one called the Couesnon. He did not treat her well. She was confined to Felix's personal room until she relieved that Carl had been able to get the whole Casino labeled as his residence. Once Felix learned this, he put her to work down in the basement where he was short on workers. There she was tortured for the amusement of the guests for days. He eventually brought her back upstairs but continued to treat her with disdain. After a particularly rough night, Sophia confronted him, explaining that his father would never have treated her this way. The conversation escalated to a fight, where Sophia found the upper hand and was chocking him with the cable attaching her collar to the floor. When she heard his gasps she backed off, instead trying to make him promise to treat her better. He used the opening to get free and run beyond where Sophia's leash would let her go. After the fight he promised through contract to forget the incident, but also said that he would be moving to the Baiae and that Sophia would therefore be coming with him back there.

Lea is invited down by Megan to spend the weekend in DC. It's both her birthday weekend (the 27) and the weekend before Halloween. She goes to the address she's given and goes upstairs to find Andrea and Megan in costume as prisoners handcuffed with Zainab, who she has never met, dressed as a police officer. They get off on the wrong foot, before hearing that Zainab is Andrea's girlfriend. She tries to be civil throughout the night but could not help but be jealous. That eventually gets the better of her when she begins to tie Zainab and goes too far, making it too tight and making Zainab who is not a submissive very uncomfortable. She's asked to leave, but as Megan's walking her out she finds out that she hasn't heard from Sophia either. So she decides that instead of going back to Philadelphia, she would go to Atlantic City to try to find Sophia.

When Lea gets to the casino, she notices ads for a new area that was just opening. When she goes to see if Sophia was there she gets distracted by a beautiful woman who works for the newly opened brothel. She follows this woman, who goes by the name Valeria, to her room before asking her some questions. Lea finds out about Carl's death and that everything Carl owned went to Felix, who is the one responsible. Eventually the two go to the night show at the coliseum where she finds Sophia as one of the woman in a battle. After she loses, Lea watches as Sophia is punished harshly and left there overnight. In the morning she goes to Sophia and they catch up. Lea lets slip that she's had a crush on Andrea and swears to find a way to get her out of there.

Lea is able to squeeze her way into getting a meeting with Felix for later in the week. She goes to DC, crashing a party as Megan's plus one to apologize and to tell Megan, Andrea and Zainab about Sophia's condition. She says she has a meeting to try to buy the contract and will let them know if it goes well. When she meets with Felix, she finds that he is so short staffed the only way he'd be willing to sell anyone is to have someone join for the next few months as part of the payment. The deal would be that a woman would join for 20 weeks, until March 20, at a level 9 contract. After the 20 weeks, Lea could acquire any contract owned by Felix or the casino with a payment relative to the contract's value. Sophia had warned Lea not to use her name specifically or he might not agree out of spite. Lea realizes the deal is possibly the only way to get Sophia out and agrees to volunteer herself. She drops out of university, ends her rental, calls her brother to say she'll be "away," but runs out of time before she can tell Andrea or Megan what her plan is. The story ends as she signs the contract and is led away in cuffs.
